Prices read from the vendors' own pricing pages
Accounting practice management software, priced on what the vendors actually publish
Buying practice management software usually starts at a demo booking form and ends at a quote nobody can compare, so this page does the dull half first and records what each vendor prints on its own pricing page, including the ones that print nothing we could read.

Cheapest published per-seat plan read (Senta, annual billing, excluding VAT)
AUD 163.90
The one plan priced per practice rather than per seat, for up to 10 users including GST (Xero Practice Manager)

Vendors whose pricing page we could not read on the day, recorded as unread rather than as publishing nothing

What accounting practice management software costs when the vendor prints a number, September 2026
Last updated
Ten practice management vendors were read on one day at the pricing page each vendor's own site links to. Six print a figure a practice can act on and four did not render one to us. The table below is the six that publish, with the plan the figure buys and the billing basis it is printed on. Five of the six price per seat and one prices the whole practice, which is the distinction that decides which is cheaper for a given firm rather than the headline number.
Each figure is the cheapest price the vendor prints on its own pricing page for a practice management plan, quoted in the currency that page prints and on the billing basis that page states. No currency is converted, and no monthly equivalent is derived from an annual total. Where a page offers a monthly and an annual toggle, both figures are recorded and the column says which is which. Tax and VAT treatment is carried through as the page states it, so a figure marked excluding VAT is not adjusted to sit beside one marked including GST. A vendor that prices the whole practice rather than the seat is shown on that basis and never divided by a seat count we would have chosen ourselves. Vendors whose pages could not be read are listed with the reason the page gave and kept out of the published-price table, because a blocked read is not a pricing decision and recording it as one would be the only invented fact on this page.

- Six of the ten vendors read print a price. Four did not render one to us: one answered HTTP 403, one served a verification interstitial, one returned an empty body, and one printed its plan figures outside the text our reader received. (TaxDome pricing, refused our reader 2026-09-12)
- Within Australian dollars, the two vendors that publish can be compared without converting anything: Xero Practice Manager prints 163.90 a month for up to ten users, while FYI's cheapest plan prints 30 per user and will not sell fewer than five seats, so five FYI seats print 150 and ten print 300. (FYI pricing, read 2026-09-12)
- The three vendors printing US dollars run from 40 to 74 per user a month on their cheapest plan, which is a spread of nearly twice for products sold to the same practice. (Canopy pricing, read 2026-09-12)
- Two of the six publishers attach a condition to the cheaper figure rather than to the product: Karbon offers monthly billing only to teams of four or more, and FYI will not sell fewer than five seats. (Karbon pricing, read 2026-09-12)
- Only one vendor read here gives the software away on a condition other than price: Xero includes Practice Manager at no charge for practices at Silver, Gold or Platinum partner level, and charges new and Bronze partners for it. (Xero Practice Manager, read 2026-09-12)

How this comparison was built
- Every vendor here was read on 12 September 2026 at the pricing page its own site links to. Nothing on this page is taken from a review site, a directory, or another comparison page.
- The order is the published price, cheapest first, in the currency each vendor prints. No currency is converted and no monthly equivalent is derived from an annual total: a price is shown on the basis its own page states, and the billing column says which that is.
- One plan is not priced per seat at all. Xero Practice Manager prints a single figure for up to ten users, so it sits in its own row of the basis column rather than being divided into a per-seat number we would have invented.
- A vendor whose page we could not read is recorded as unread, separately from a vendor that publishes nothing. Those are different facts, and collapsing them would make a blocked read look like a pricing decision.
- A published figure is the cheapest plan a vendor advertises for practice management. It is not a quote for your practice, and on several of these the cheapest plan excludes the document or tax modules a practice would expect to use.

Wipvo earns nothing from anything on this page. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no paid positions in the table: the order is the published price, cheapest first. We are building practice management software of our own, which is why this comparison exists, and it is not on the list because it is not for sale yet.
The questions we get
How many practice management vendors publish a price?
Six of the ten read for this site print a figure on their own pricing page. Four did not render one to our reader on the day: one answered 403, one served a verification interstitial, one returned an empty body, and one printed its plan figures outside the text we received.(TaxDome pricing, refused our reader 2026-09-12)
What is the cheapest published plan?
Senta prints 23.20 per user a month in pounds on annual billing, excluding VAT, which is the lowest per-seat figure read here. It is not the cheapest bill for every practice, because two other vendors attach seat floors and one prices the whole practice instead.(Senta pricing, read 2026-09-12)
Why are the prices in different currencies?
Because each vendor prints its own, and converting them would mean choosing a rate and a date that no vendor published. Prices are shown in the currency the page prints, on the billing basis it states, and comparisons are made only within one currency.(FYI pricing, read 2026-09-12)
Is a per-user price always worse than a practice price?
No, it depends on headcount. Within Australian dollars, Xero Practice Manager prints 163.90 a month for up to ten users while FYI prints 30 per user with a five seat minimum, so five FYI seats print 150 and ten print 300.(Xero Practice Manager, read 2026-09-12)
Do any of these prices include every module?
Not all of them. Canopy's Standard plan prices tax workflow automation and close automation as separate add-ons, so its published seat rate is a floor rather than a total bill.(Canopy pricing, read 2026-09-12)
Does Wipvo make money from this comparison?
No. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no paid positions. We are building practice management software of our own, which is not for sale yet and is not in the table.(Jetpack Workflow pricing, read 2026-09-12)
Guides
The longer answers, with sources.
- Accounting practice management software in the UK
What UK practices can read off a vendor's own pricing page, who publishes in pounds, and why the cheapest per-seat figure is rarely the cheapest bill.
- Practice accounting software is not practice management
The phrase covers the ledger a practice keeps for clients and the system it runs its own jobs on. Which one a pricing page is selling, and how to tell.
- Where per-seat practice management stops working
Per-seat pricing is fine until a firm has admin staff, seasonal people and partners who log in twice a month. What the published plans do at that point.
- Selling an accounting practice: what a buyer examines
A practice sale is priced on recurring fees, client concentration and how much work survives the owner leaving. What that means for your records.
